The Tactical Axe is a weapon/tool/item in Sons of the Forest.
It is provided to you from the start of the game in the Emergency pack alongside other essentials for survival.
Your second starting equipment used heavily for combat, with its ability to block, parry and damage enemies, along with the ability to cut down trees. This is an extremely vital piece of equipment that will put you on the path of victory.
You won't be using this to gut animals however, as you get the Utility Knife instead for this.
You can use this to alternatively dismember limbs off of Enemies, which can also be done while they are alive.
It is the Sons of the Forest's Equivalent to The Forest's "Plane Axe".
This item is however superseded by the Modern Axe and therefore Firefighter Axe
