Solar panels are building items generating energy to power electrical items.
Description[]

A solar panel powering a light bulb
Solar panels can only be placed on ramps or in the floor. When placed, two wires will appear off its sides and run around the ramp it is placed on. A single solar panel can only occupy one "square" of either floor or ramp. From there, players may create a circuit by placing Wires on structural logs. Circuits only work if wires are placed on logs which have direct connection with each other, starting with the supports of the ramp where the solar panel is located. Wires can be placed to go through walls and roofs.
They generate power during daytime and shutdown during the night slowly, hence it is recommended to find the car battery found in wrecked golf carts.
Uses[]
Currently there are five objects that can be powered by the solar panel:
- Light bulb
- Electric fence
- Cross structure
- Leg lamp
- Spotlight
Location[]
Solar panels can be found throughout the map, usually in Supply Cases, campsites or inside bunkers.
