Logs are used as a common building material which is obtained by cutting down trees with any axe or the chainsaw. Logs can be cut into halves (hamburger style), thirds and quarters, and when building can be split in half (hotdog style) to create doors, floor, ceilings, etc.
Depending on the size of the tree, when chopped with any axe or the chainsaw, they can drop between two and five logs. Smaller saplings only drop sticks when felled.
A zipline can assist in moving logs long distances or over difficult terrain.
Logs can be thrown at most enemies as a means to stagger them, or at critters as a method of hunting small game.
Logs thrown or dropped close enough to a log storage will glide into that storage. This pairs well with the zipline.
Logs can be used to glitch through locked doors. Position the character with his back against the door, then place two logs in front of him, one in front of the other, and the logs will push the character backwards through the door.
